Farm House………

Well I’ve  finally got round to start building my T012 Farm House from scalescenes. I have had the kit since Christmas, but I’ve be so busy with work, the fire station and the house, it has just been sitting there waiting patiently for me to get round to it.

It seems like months since I’ve had the time to just sit at the table and get out all of my model making stuff and play!! I feel it is so therapeutic to sit, cut out and assemble these models from scalescenes.

I think this project will go well with the Country Pub and the Church in a rural village scene.

At first I thought it was going to fly together, but I was wrong, as I realised once I had all of the rooms and detail to do. I should of known better.

I still find it a great shame that all of this attention to interior detail is never going to be seen by anyone but me.

It even goes as far as having dormer windows upstairs.

This is how far I have reached so far, and you can see it’s not just me that thinks all of the detail is a shame to be hidden. It must take the John at scalescenes many hours to achieve all of the interior never to be seen again.

Hopefully I can finish work today and get back home to my table and get the roofs put into place. Oh did I forget to tell you, there is a Barn that goes with this Farm House. I think you might be impressed with that too, as it too is very highly detailed.

Until Next Time…………..

Looking good Chris. Shame about the interior detail, is it not possible to leave the roof so that it can be lifted or hinge a side as in a doll's house?

This will look great when finished. Keep up the good work and be sure to show the finished product.

More fantastic work Chris, it's looking good, i agree with Jean is there no way you can do something to the roof so that it can opened to show of the interior?? Looking forward to the next set of pictures.
